The turnaround time on your order starts when you’ve paid in full and we have all information required to complete your order (all artwork and approvals, customer supplied garments, working /correct tags, all fonts required for editable tags, all shipping info, etc.). Delay in receipt of any of these items will result in production delays. Our current standard turnaround time for most services is 7-10 business days on average and is not guaranteed. Complex orders/add-ons may increase turnaround. Delay in approval of your quote or proof could also result in production delays. Each finishing service will add extra time to the turnaround on orders, adding roughly 2 days per finishing service to the turnaround time. The most up-to-date turnaround time will be listed on your quote as well as invoice, and shipping time is not included in our standard turnaround time.
If you have a strict deadline for your order, it is very important that you let us know this when placing your order, and a rush fee may apply if there isn’t enough time to complete your order within our standard turnaround timeframe. We will not be able to accommodate changes to due dates after production has begun. Any circumstances out of District Publishing’s control (i.e. weather delays, shipping errors by the supplier, etc.) may require more time, and are not factored into the initial turnaround time estimate.
Rush orders may be subject to an upcharge of up to 100% of estimated total. See rush table below, and contact us for current rush production availability.
7 day rush – plus 15% of total
5 day rush – plus 25% of total
3 day rush – plus 50% of total
5 day rush – plus 25% of total
2 day rush – plus 100% of total

All orders must be paid in full before the order can be moved into production. Net 30 exceptions can be made for schools and credit approved businesses only after approval by District Publishing management. If you pay via check, the turnaround time will not begin until your check clears our financial institution.
In addition to the signed quote and approval of artwork proof, we also require payment in full to move your job into production. Therefore production begins the next business day after these items are received by District Publishing, thus starting the turnaround clock. We accept most major credit cards as well as cash and checks. If paying by credit there is a 3% payment processing fee added to the total. If paying by personal or business check, it must clear our bank prior to your job moving into production. Please take note to the delay this may cause.
All files must be at least 300 DPI or vector format. The design dimensions should be sized to the exact size you would like it printed on the garments. The text must be converted to outlines. Printing can only be as good as the artwork. District Publishing will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. Please see our artwork specs for more details. District Publishing will also not be responsible for any misspellings, or errors of any kind with customer supplied artwork and files. Although we do our best to catch these errors and point them out to you, we may not catch them all. To prevent errors please review the District Publishing provided artwork proof thoroughly. If it is in your art file and on your approval, this is how we will print it.
Artwork proofs are used to ensure the accuracy of a print job and the order details. All artwork is to be approved via this District Publishing provided artwork proof, and signed and returned to us. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, sizes ordered, placement of the art, and accuracy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to review every detail of the proof, as this is how your garments will be printed. District Publishing will not accept responsibility for corrections requested after artwork approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and could require additional expenses. Production cannot begin until signed approval of the artwork proof, the quote, and full payment has been received by District Publishing. Because of these requirements, all sales are deemed final once they're received by District Publishing. You [the purchaser] certify that you own the rights to or have a license to use the copyrighted or trademarked image(s) being used in the design of your order, and District Publishing takes no responsibility for any trademark or copyright infringement from your design.

The fees for basic graphic design services are $60 an hour, and will be billed in hourly increments with a minimum of 1 hour per graphic design job.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide details in regard to print placement and size. If no details are provided we will print in standard locations (ex: Chest Print, Print to start 2" inches below bottom of collar).
Please note that not all shirts are sewn exactly the same. The following dimensions are to be used for reference as a "safe" zone to avoid printing on any seams or edges, and please use our templates for accurate placement of your design. Also please check the individual product page on our vendor's websites for exact measurements for the product you are looking for.
NOTE: Any print that goes over a seam can result in imperfections in the print.
Even though our printers have over 20 years of experience, there is no way to effectively and efficiently measure a distance from the collar on each shirt as each garment is loaded onto the press by hand. If you request a print that is 2" down from the collar, we will use that as a guide and do our best to make sure that all shirts hit that target, but not all shirts will hit exactly at 2", they may be off by as much as an inch in either direction. This will not be considered a misprint and District Publishing will not reprint or refund these shirts.
Although District Publishing has the latest equipment available, inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage when printing near or over the collar, seams, or any other edges. Any large prints may run the risk of going over the sleeve seam. These are all considered acceptable goods and will not be considered for reprints.

Due to variances in computer monitors and printers, colors in an artwork proof or mockup are not true to the finished product. If you desire a specific color match, please specify the color by providing either a physical sample or listing a corresponding Pantone Ink color (PMS color) on your purchase order. Additional color matching fees apply.
For exact color matches please request Pantone Matched colors. Pantone color matches are available for $50.00 per color per quart. DISCHARGE & WATERBASED COLOR MATCHES CAN NOT BE GUARANTEED.
Some applications such as foil, puff ink, and glow in the dark inks do not hold up as well as Plastisol or water based inks. Due to the inconsistent nature and short life spans of these applications District Publishing will not be liable for minor inconsistencies found in the print and will not issue refunds for these services.
As an industry standard we will use the same set of screens per design ordered; that is, the design will print the exact same size, no matter the size of the item we are printing on. So if you're printing youth small through unisex extra large, all garments will have the same dimension design printed on them. If you would like to have different screen sizes made for different garment sizes, please let us know when you place your order. Each set of screens will be considered a different job, with pricing charged accordingly. Please keep this in mind when printing women and youth sized shirts.
Due to the wide variety of brands, styles, colors, and sizes, District Publishing does not stock blank garments and will source your apparel at the time of order. From time to time our manufacturers may be out of stock on ordered items. District Publishing will not be held liable for delays due to manufacture out of stocks or discontinued items. If items are out of stock, we will provide you with a list of possible replacements and gain your approval prior to using the replacement item.
At District Publishing all sales are final, and cancellations will not be accepted once your job moves into production, which is the day after we receive full payment and signed approval of quote and proof.
District Publishing will do everything possible to meet any must-have date, but we cannot guarantee it. Rush fees may apply. Customer will be responsible for any expedited shipping charges associated with Rush orders.
We ship all orders via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. If you prefer a specific carrier, please specify which carrier during order placement. Shipping and delivery is not included in estimates unless specified. Shipping and delivery timeframe is NOT included in turnaround time.
At District Publishing we observe all U.S. banking holidays and are closed the following days. These days will not be considered operational business days, and therefore will not count towards turnaround time:

Any large prints may run the risk of going over the sleeve seam. These are all considered acceptable goods and will not be considered for reprints.
Customer-supplied materials (i.e. garments, caps, bags, promotional products, or specialty paper stocks) are subject to a 10% misprint allowance. Any misprints will be credited as a print owed and not as an item owed. If a specific number is needed you may want to provide extras to cover this allowance.
District Publishing is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our best to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment's quality. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size if an exact count is important.
There will be a $45.00 returned check fee.
District Publishing reserves the right to change pricing without notice.
Estimates, quotes, proposals, etc. expire within 30 days and are subject to change upon review of submitted artwork, garments, or any other order related item.
District Publishing will not be responsible for your satisfaction with the garments printed or the printed artwork. We are always available to counsel any customer to ensure you pick a garment that matches your needs, but we also need you to do your due diligence and understand the type of garment for your needs. If you are unsure what garment to select, we can gladly order blank samples for you to inspect and choose from. The samples will be billed and invoiced individually, and shipped without printing. Blank samples will not be credited to the cost of your subsequent order and cannot number over one item per style and color.
At District Publishing we go to great lengths to try to ensure that every order that leaves our facility is correct. Any order printed different than the approved proof will be granted a reprint of the defective product. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. District Publishing will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receipt of goods. If it is determined that you need to return products to us for inspection or to be reprinted, the product must be returned within 1 week of the stated claim. If you have contacted us to make a return and we have agreed to cover the shipping costs, all items must be shipped using ground shipping methods from UPS or FedEx, any other methods of shipping (3 day ship, 2nd day air, next day air, next day saver) will not be covered. If items are returned after this timeframe, the shipment will be denied and the package will be sent back unless prior arrangements have been made.
If District Publishing is responsible for any errors in your order, we will gladly accept responsibility for the issues and will reprint the apparel printed in error. We do not offer refunds, but will gladly reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate. District Publishing will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. While District Publishing performs several quality checks throughout our production, the final quality assurance check lies in the hands of you, our customer.
